It is fitted to a standard size 10 so will only fit a girl that is a perfect 10.If you are larger or smaller you will have to be fitted by a dressmaker to ensure that the dress maintains that perfect figure hugging silhouette.With the bust if you are smaller or larger you can always wear sticky cups to make your bust size increase to fit.If your hips are larger this won’t make a huge difference as the skirt is gathered and so will flare out around you.

Welcome The French Revolution Kaftan!!!

It’s hard to make a Kaftan that screams hear comes the French revolution……Secret Culture has done just that!!!! First day of my 50 designs in 50 days challenge and I have created your call to arms young revolutionists and free spirits. Of course it is only just a one off design and so there is only one available for purchase. I will be selling this wonderful red Kaftan on EBAY and ETSY and whoever wherever purchases it first will win the item.

THE ITEM IS A ONE OFF AND THERE WILL BE NO OTHER MASS PRODUCED IN THE FUTURE.

This is the les miserable inspiration on my current work. It’s time for French revolution!!!!

The fabric is a silk chiffon and it feels lovely on.

There is a wonderful drape about this kaftan and it sits just below the jeans line so to hide any lumps or bumps that you might want to keep hidden.

It is slightly sheer in normal light although in fuller light you can see through the kaftan a little more.

The kaftan is hand beaded with white pearl sequins and gold sphere beads around the neckline and around the armholes.

The neckline has a royal blue braid emphasising the French revolution theme of the piece.

The neckline is a v-shape and has a pearl drop gold knot bead as a centrepiece that draws attention to your bust.

The colour is blood red otherwise and looks lovely worn with a black bikini underneath, or over some jeans or tight jeggings if you are having a non-beach day.
